This talk presents conceptual tools that provide a novel organizing structure both for understanding and diagnosing the deeper causes of physical ailments, for determining effective treatment strategies, for identifying the role of emotions in health, and for clarifying how the mind and body interact in the healing process. The goal is both to provide a new paradigm that can shed additional insight on the etiology of health and disease, and to show how that paradigm can be applied to yielding specific pragmatic results in helping the client heal.
