Eve-Marie, a native New Yorker, moved to Germany as a teenager where she attended high school and received a degree in Social Work. Dr. Gottesfeld began his career as a staff physician at the Ossining Open Door Health Center in Ossining, New York. A year later, he became a staff physician in the emergency room of the Hudson Valley Hospital Center in Cortlandt Manor, New York. He left both positions in 1990 and joined the Family Medical Care group in Pleasantville, New York, where he served as a staff physician in family practice and urgent care. In 1991, he joined Northern Westchester Hospital Center in Mt. Kisco, New York, working in the emergency department as a staff physician.
